Pride offers full-time regular employees and their covered dependents comprehensive medical coverage through Geisinger Health Plan or Highmark BlueCross. (Note: The Blue Care PPO plan is exclusive to employees located outside Pennsylvania HMO service areas). Features of our medical coverage include a low annual deductible ($200 per person/$600 maximum per family in-network), no referrals for Specialist care and low co-payments for many services and prescriptions.

Additional $50.00 monthly contribution applies for employees who use tobacco products and do not meet the criteria to have the surcharge waived. Pride offers free Tobacco Cessation classes and other resources to assist employees who are ready to quit.
Pride offers a medical waiver payment in lieu of medical plan benefits for employees who do not elect medical plan coverage. Proof of other coverage must be provided in order for a medical waiver payment to occur.
Pride offers full-time regular employees and their covered dependents two dental plan options through Delta Dental. Both plans provide coverage for preventive services at 100% in-network. Other services are covered up to set percentages based on the plan chosen.

Pride offers full-time regular employees and their covered dependents vision insurance through Vision Benefits of America. An annual eye exam with an in-network provider is covered 100% and there are plan allowances for lenses/frames or contacts. Eligibility for vision benefits begins on the 1st of the month following 90 days of employment. Employee monthly contributions are as follows:

Vacations are important, not only to the employee, but also to Pride. The company considers it wise and necessary to completely depart from the work environment periodically. Full-time regular employees receive paid vacation January 1 of each year as follows:

Full-time employees and part-time employees will receive paid time off for the following holidays:
Employees must work the scheduled day before and the scheduled day after the holiday, or have leave time approved in advance in order to receive holiday pay.
Pride provides each full-time regular employee with basic term life insurance in the amount of $20,000. Employees have the option to purchase additional life insurance above the basic insurance amounts at group insurance rates. Spouse term life insurance and dependent child term life insurance may also be purchased.
Pride provides each full-time regular employee with basic accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance in the amount of $20,000. Employees have the option to purchase additional AD&D insurance above the basic insurance amounts at group insurance rates. Family AD&D coverage may also be purchased.
Pride provides a short-term disability plan for all full-time regular employees. Benefits range from 30% - 80% income replacement depending on length of employment. Employees are able to purchase long-term disability insurance at group insurance rates.
Pride offers a variety of voluntary benefit options including an accident policy, a critical illness plan which includes cancer, and a legal plan to full-time regular employees and their eligible dependents at group insurance rates.
Pride offers a 401(k) plan to allow full-time/part-time regular employees to save for retirement with pre-tax dollars. Employees who have completed 6 months of service and have reached age 21 can contribute to Pride's 401(k) plan. Entry dates for the plan are the beginning of each month. Employees can contribute from 1% to 99% of their salary. Pride offers a company match of 50% on the first 2% of your contribution and 25% company match on the next 3-6% of your contribution. Contributions can not violate the 401(k) limit set annually by the IRS. Vesting starts at 1 year of service, with full vesting after 3 years of service.
In addition to the 401(k) plan, Pride also offers full-time/part-time regular employees an Employee Stock Ownership Retirement Plan (ESOP). Employees are allocated shares of company stock annually based on plan provisions. Vesting starts at 2 years of service, with full vesting after 5 years of service.
Pride offers employees the chance to save pre-tax dollars for their own or a family member's college tuition with a 529 Plan.
Pride's Tuition Reimbursement Program is designed to repay a portion of the tuition that is incurred when employees successfully complete pre-approved course work which is directly related to their current job assignment and is completed outside the normally scheduled work hours. As an incentive, Pride will repay up to 75% of the cost of the tuition, depending on the employee's final grade. Employees must have 6 months of service to be eligible for the Tuition Reimbursement Program.
